Thinking of buying a 272.

I’m sure, if I were willing to repower and address the outdrive, I could be at 85 pretty easy. But the wife has already discovered just how white her knuckles need to be. I guess I’ll settle for a decent ski ride that’s a little easier on the wallet to own.
Thanks. Brad.

We had a 272 and went to a 29 single engine fountain.
The issues around the docs with a larger single in the wind will still be there and probably a little harder at times.
Either one will be hard to change in, but easily doable. You mentioning your not 35 anymore made me want to bring that up lol.
Make sure you get a 272 with a Mag or 502 for sure. We had the 310hp 454 and it was a dog.

I have a 99 272 with a 454mag. High 50's low 60s on a great day. Cabin is on the small side in my opinion for a 27ft boat, but the cockpit space is nice. If they were taken care of they are a pretty solid boat and will last. Mine is going on year 25 and still looks like it could be on the showroom floor.
