Fuel on lake Travis
Running up to, and during, the run I noted the fuels available at the various marinas. Is there a reason (besides the obvious) that only 93 octane seems to be available on the lake? The obvious reason would be that this is the highest profit item in the lineup. The vast majority of motors on the lake are built for 87 octane. Mercury, for example, states that all it's motors under 500 HP are built for 87 specifically to reduce fuel costs.
