Anybody have experience with one? Did they make them long? What kind of ride? Is one 7.4 enough power? I found a 1990 that looks well maintained. I haven't heard of that model before.

OK I have been told the DVX used to be called a 265 force. What kind of ride is this on rough water like LOTO. They seem pretty heavy for a 7.4, would this be a dog?
What is the deadrise anyone know?

I looked at a couple of them price range was 14- 20K all with single I think the owners said low 50's, Yes it is a heavy boat but they both said a solid ride. www.Lake-cumberland-marine.com has one for sale

Guy around here has one. Nice looking boat, lot's of room, but it's a bit of a tank. He doesn't venture out into the big water when we do. Chicken!!! LOL!! 21* bottom. MIGHT hit 55, but I doubt it. My Outlaw is just a bit shorter, and probably just a bit lighter, and with a stock 7.4, it would do 54, no more, no matter what I did. Good friend of mine just sold his 250 Force. For the most part, the same boat as the 265 DVX. His had a 350 in it and would do 40. Tops. Usually only ran about 36 or so with "stuff" in it. I drove it a couple of times. NO COMPARISON to the deep V 24* bottom of many other boats. Lot's of room though....so he tied up to me and we sat on HIS boat.
He had a bigger stereo than me too (see the stereo poll.
)
Brian, for LOTO I would probably look at something else. But for the lake you and Gordo boat on there at home, it would probably be fine.
