Labbed props
I am about to send my prop out to be labbed, can anyone tell me what to expect for speed and rough water hadling? I have a 2000 25 Outlaw with a 502. best speed so far on gps has been 67.5 mph. The prop I am running is a stock 23 Mirage plus.

Johnny,
I have a 2001 25 Outlaw with a 496HO, 1.5 Bravo I, 425HP.
The 502, I believe had 415hp. Pretty much the same, for all intents and purposes.
Anyway, my boat came with a stock 23P Mirage Plus.
I now run a 25P Mirage Plus, that had the diameter cut down 3/8", the cupping was increased from stock and it was balanced and labbed. The diffuser ring was also shortened. I picked up almost 3 mph top end with way better cruising characteristics!

If your close to the rev limiter now, ( 5099 rpm)
you will be up against it when you
run that prop after labbing,
You may want to go the route
Baja Daze did.
