Default Customer Service SUCKS

Finally got a response from Baja on my bow light and rocker switch.....
Steve,
Both those items can be purchased at your local Baja dealer. If they do not have them in stock, they will be able to place an order with us.

What I had had e-mailed them was, who the manufacturer of these items are.

First off, my local Baja dealer is over 100 miles away.2nd why should I pay for a local dealers markup, and baja's if I could go straight to the manufacturer.3rd it's baja's poor placement of the cleats and bow light that caused the problem....

Maybe I'm being a prick here, but it seems when owners of Sonic's,Velocity's,and other brands have problems, they receive much better factory treatment....

This is the 4th issue that the factory treatment was totaly UNSATISFACTORY!!!!!!

Don't get too made at Baja. Being a wholesale distributor myself you have to rely on the retailer to take care of service. If somebody calls us directly they get list price (same or more at the retailer). We do not have enough staff to hanle these requests and it is not fair to the local retailers who give time and energy.

On a better note they mostly use common switches that can be purchased at west marine etc.

To answer your question they are usually:

Cole-Hersee (CH)
Carlingswitch

I've needed a few things in the past, all I did was call the dealer put it on order, gave them my credit card number and had them ship it to my place of business.I have to agree with Bajalion that's what the dealer network is for.

Steve,

Sorry to hear you are not getting satisfaction. When we lost our local dealer a year ago, right after I took delivery of the new 36, I thought I was screwed.

Much to my supprise I found Baja to be extremey helpful and easy to work with on the few warranty issues I had.

Good luck, I would stick to OSO and the web and source them out.
