Default The OLD Offshoreonly ?

I found this old thread while surfing around google. Is this what everyone was always talking about, the old OFFSHOREONLY boards?

Nope. Liquid is right. It's just an 'abridged' version that is displayed when viewed from a google search.

The old board was much different.

Guys, I was on the original board back in 1999. I was known as "Baja Boss".

It was nothing as nice as this. A new thread was writen above the older ones and each reply was like a written under the thread. On one page you could read many without opening anything.

I do remember that it got VERY nasty. The hard core racers and those that thought they were fast/bad were always into it.

It actually shut down for a few months, then came back in a much nicer format. I was contacted at that point and asked if I would be interested in purchasing the website. I was really stupid about those things and could not visualize the future on the internet and turned it down.

It has sure come a long way and I think it is the premier boating site still.

It's change quite a bit in the 2 1/2 years I have been on board, that's for sure. Still a great site though, no doubt.
