Bikini,
Besides the water rail that you mentioned, I have had zero other problems engine, drive or otherwise. It's been a great boat and a great engine package. I know guys with charter fishing rigs that are getting 800 to 1000 hours out of their 496/bravo packages, of course their duty cycle may not be as severe. I change all the fluids religiously, engine oil every 25 hours and drive lube every 50 hours. I flush the motor after each use and always have a good coat of anti-corrosive on the whole engine. Knock on wood, let's hope it stays that way, I don't want to jinx it!
