Like so...

This is a 1998...

I don't have any engine room pics of my 2001 but the area in question was completely re-designed.

No steering either. I can see the nose scuffs so I bet in person the boat looks even rougher, Plus it's a custom paint job, I wonder how good it look up close?
You're probably right. Boats that look even the slightest bit rough in pictures usually look REALLY rough in person. Pictures have a way of hiding stuff somehow.

Hey CAP, I'm curious why you might be looking a another Baja. Weren't you a former disgruntled Baja owner a while back?

Yes, I was. 1 was new and 1 was a 29 with stringer problems.
I just can't find anything clean.

Every boat co. has boats with problems. I wouldn't say I'd never ever look at them again, If the right 1 for the right price comes along I'd buy it.

Thanks man - yep my boat looks like it's never been used (probably cause it barely has been). You can count on one hand the number of times I've even had anyone besides myself in it.

Hey CAP - I think a 29O/L is king when it comes to getting into twin big-blocks for next to nothing. A boat like mine runs almost 80mph and can be had for mid 70's. 2001 Dominators and 31 Sonics are still commanding around 100K (mainly cause new ones are close to 150K now). Those fortunate enough to get the last few 2004 29's were getting them for 100K - except for "you-know-who" who stole his for 87K.

Texas - Oklahoma!!!

I think the farthest I've ever gone in my boat is about 2 miles from the launch ramp.
