Progressive insures my 29 Outlaw. I think the premium is around $1,600. Had to sign tthat he boat would not do over 70. Your automobile driving record and credit rating will affect your premium. Also the number of months you boat and which bodies of water are considered.

1999 Baja 302 with 7.4s
I too have State Farm and pay $538 a year for an agreed value of $80k.
My agent never said anything about 70mph. Of course the Baja won't do 70!!!!!
My Fountain, however, did and I wasn't aware of any speed issues. Perhaps it's a good thing I didn't have to make a claim.
