YES!!!
Finally on Sunday afternoon. All the gremlins are out of the engine. She went 68.9 on gps. That is over 10 mph faster than with the 454. I know we can get more out of her though. Just got to get her proped right and learn to drive her better. She is totally different now. I feel like I am cheating on her but I am not. I have so much to learn now.

WHOA!!! That looks awesome! I fell hook, line & sinker for the first photo. Then I scrolled to the next one! I think that blue goes real well with the red on the outside. Have a great time with it.
We've missed the Lake Perry crowd this summer. Our boating time has been limited to a few trips to LOTO this summer with some friends. In fact, we'll be down this weekend for our first shootout.
Congrats on the heart transplant.

Once we figured out the "little stuff", it ran great. Ya gotta love the whine of a blower at high RPM !!
Actually, the GPS speed is a littel mis-leading. When we went out the last time, I grabbed a 25p Q-IV prop that I thought would be close to start with. It was on the rev limiter at 67mph This was at conservative trim, and was accelerating like a banshee, so it would have easily made 70. I have a few props that we can play with, but I'm thinking the B-Nauti just went from a 23p 3 blade to around a 27p 4 blade.
Banker Ron & OCG looked like proud new parents after we made that first speed run.
