I have two 10's , four 8's and four 6 & 1/2's. its crystal clear and I am very happy with it. I would go with the 10's maybe 4 instead of 6. No matter which way you go it sounds like you will have a rockn system.

well i heard the 33 that was before mine that had 6-10's. they were crossfires?? i was not impressed by it.
Ive looked underneath and i dont think im going to go the 15" route either.
so now im thinking either
1. liquid assets recommendation of the 12w7
or
2. 2-10w6's with boxes under the back seat like bikinilovers

2 10" driven with some decent power will hit hard in a nice sealed box. You are dealing with current issues as well. If you want good hitting power how much current are you willing to let your amps use? More speakers usually isn't the answer, but driving them with the power they need is everything. But back to the current issue. If you can you dedicate a battery and isolate it then go ahead and have at it. It appears that 120 amps is all that most customers can spare with a dedicated battery if they are listening all day long. if you have 65 amp alternations you can see the issue. If you would like let me know what equipment you like and I would be happy to run the numbers I am the field engineer for the south east so I cover Texas as well. Just shoot me and email or PM and Ill help however I can.

4 blue tops otta cover it, thats whats under my seat, the alternator doesn't help me much since sitting at the cove with the tunes blasting all day does'nt charge the batteries, but I have never been stranded, with 3 amps, and 3 fans running all day. My batts may be a little overkill, but it definatly works

Yup 4 blue tops will do it for stereo and fan... I just try to hold to the 120 amp rule and trying to keep my draw around there as much as can. I usually have to deal with fridge, lights, starting, stereo, fans, pumps etc and all of those things needs to be functioning all all times or a boat can sink or be stranded. Both of which are bad. But yes if you have the room for 4 blue tops then have at it and enjoy your tunes!!!

I prefer the 12". I have had 10, 12, 15's in my trucks, and I have always like the 12's the best. The 15's were not as loud, but they were impressive with the right tunes. The 10's are great for all around use, get some good base in tight spots. But the 12's were super loud, good pounders, and simply perfect.
I used to have an '89 Camaro with 4 12's in an iso-bandpass box. WOW!!!
Then again, I had a truck with 2 12's, 2 10's and 2 6 1/2's, it was the best sounding. Crystal clear in all ranges, but not as hard hitting as the 4 12's.
But if you contemplating 10's over 12's, I would have to disagree. Go with the 12's if you can.
