I'm on my third Baja in 8 years. I like the 272 that I have now but always want more size and speed. All I'm lacking is money......

Why are people so critical of Baja anyway? I have only one complaint and that is there are an abundance of boats just like mine. I have seen Baja's docked next to each other with the exact graphics. They are mass produced but thats what makes them affordable.

You can always order white and paint or put stickers on the side.

Isn't that why Baja created the custom shop ???

I am proud of my Baja and I think it is a great boat. I was trying to illustrate that of all the things to go wrong with a boat having someone with the same graphics as you is not a big deal. In fact if that is the only complaint then life is good. What I would like to know is why Baja's are sometimes looked down on by some other boat owners.

Did you know the new 23 and 30 do not have stringers? The inner liner is structural. The only place wood is used is in the balsa core and to give compression strength (like where a bolt goes through, motor mounts etc...)

I looked at the new 30 outlaw and was very impressed with the quality and forethought that went into the boat. As a person who wouldn't want to sleep in my boat I appreciated the cabin design. I liked how Baja split up the shifters and throttles. I love the monster gauges. K-planes and Latham steering. I believe the cockpit is one piece dropped in the hull. I thought the 30 outlaw was a solid ride and it did close to 80 mph with 496 ho's. The 30 outlaw will more than likely be my next boat. I think Baja has a great product.
