New to the Board, and just picked up my first Baja in December. Haven't even driven it yet. It is a 2001 Hammer with a 454 MPI.
Looking forward to getting on the Mississippi soon. If any of you have any suggestions for beginning mods, I am all ears. I am already looking for more speed and haven't driven it yet. I hear I may see 70 on the speedo, but radar more likely will be 65-66. Just need to stay away from the radar I guess.

My third baja is a 33 outlaw w/500efi's. I started with a 91 bandit
with a 502 that went like crazy. Bought a new 25 in 98 with a 502
that rode unbelievably but was a little poky. Last year a 33 was
my latest , the ride is unbelievable and the boat she does rock!!

OK OK OK!!!
I can’t let the guy in the marina across from me chime in. without myself standing up to be counted finally.
I was wondering when we could get together and see who gets to Harrison first. Looks like I know the anser.

NotTOOBAD, Your on the same path as me. My first boat was a 94 22 Caliber w/ 454 carb. 2nd boat was a 1997 272 w/ 502 mag, now on my third in three years. 2001 25 Outlaw 496magHO. I loved my 272, dealer sold it in about a week from trade in.
