CFD...Funny, I bought my 22 Caliber from a guy in Ohio and had it trucked down here about 3 years ago. Don't think too many of those boats made it far from home...you don't see many of them down here.
That was a great boat with a 7.4 in it...would run with alot of bigger boats (in the smooth stuff!!). Can't wait to get into the season and see how the 272 does.

NotTOOBAD, Did you buy the 22 from Captains Cove marina in Cincinnati? If so that was mine, it has been about 3 years since I sold the boat. I loved the 272. Handles ALOT better than the 22. I had my 22 caliber up in lake Erie at Put-in-Bay and got caught in a storm over by Cedar point. Got pretty nasty but the little 22 handled it suprisingly well.

CFD...Nope the 22 Caliber acme from a private owner over toward Canton (can't remember the exact town). I'll have it up on the for sale page later this week.
So why the move from a 272 to a 25 Outlaw? Do you see much difference in ride/performance? I looked at Outlaws too, just happened to find the 272 at the right time.

NotTOOBAD, I loved the 272 but I had some problems with it, it think it was just my bad luck. I was actually looking at getting a cat but I have friends who run the Baja dealer in Lake Cumberland KY, and my wife and I saw the 25 and had to have it. It rides totaly different than the 272. Deeper V so it rides better in the rough. I had the 502mag in the 272 and could only get about 65-66 out of it, and it got squirly at 65. I was planning on a supercharger but i didn't think it could handle it. The 25 has a 496magHO and runs 70 on GPS and I plan on adding a procharger in the future. Both boats are excellent, the 25 just suited my needs better. They are the same size though, outlaw is measured w/o the swim platform.

I know we're past 100 on Baja owners, but do we have a count on how many repeat owners ? Sounds like quite a few . Ken240 and I started small with a 1992 204, bright yellow hull with white/grey/blk stripes. Now we have the 1988 Sport 240 (pictured earlier).
But the big question is where to go from here.........
