Re: Banana Boat refurb
It will be getting a new deck, stringers?, and bulkheads. Also doing away with the O/B well by going with a full transom and filling the portlight holes. But I don't have any pics since the boat is in FL and I'm in MA.

Thank God you decided to nix the portholes.
Now lets get rid of the 727 headlights and the embedded nav lights!
Looks so much cleaner with out anything...

I think I'm getting rid of the extra large headlights as well. Does your maintenance department need any spares They worked when I took them off! The problem with the nav. lights is nobody makes anything better than the ugly chrome ones with the red and green ping pong ball lenses I would love it if I could find nice LED versions.

She is a bare hull in these picks. I stripped everthing out before I brought it down to FL.

Nice shot of Charley Jr's house in Boca inthe bottom shot.
Maybe you started a new trend by parking on the lawn.
Pretty soon the neighbors will be seeing a lot more of that.

As for the nav lights, I was going to remove my embedded side lights and get a stainless pop up bow light on the foredeck. Those things are sweet.
The side lights on the Banana Boats are what is used on the toe rail of most production sail boats. I feel they look very much out of place on a performance boat. I also noticed that a lot of California Hot boats use them, but I don't like them. I sandblasted mine and painted them white to make them disapear a bit until I could fiberglass over them.
