Blew up engine on #3 maiden voyage
Well I sucked up a plastic bag and cooked the port engine on hull # 3 on sunday the first ride in the new to me boat.
It was fast for a while!
The nordscog was reading a solid 65 and that was w/ out any trim and turning about 5000.
anyone have a 2.4 powerhead
Josh

Josh,
That sucks Dude!
I would go over to screamandfly.com and PM BigoBass. He is out of W. Palm Beach and had about 40 Mercury engines in his garage last time I was there.
He does shipping very easily and best of all he backs up what he says.
After the 4.0 liter V8 he traded me decided to blow itself up, he paid for all the shipping and traded me back my old engine. Before he shipped me back the Mercury he re-did the skeg, the water pump and completely cleaned the carbs.
Great guy.
I will see if I can dig up his phone number.
