Did it used to be green and white and say fantasia on the side?

Tall windshield?

Very high x-dimension?

Nah, it used to be blue and white, short windshield, and the transom was redone and the x-dimension was raised for a bravo drive. The only history of the boat that I know of is from the old pics the previous owner gave me. Here are some of the new pics, I am about to rig her with power, gauges, steering, throttles, etc.

Wow, that is the exact color combo I wanted to paint my 1992 Banana, but never got around to getting it done.

Good luck with the project.

You should change the name from "son of a gun" to "cousin of a gun".

I have a relatively new mercruiser 454 crate motor. I also have stainless marine exhaust and a few other du-hickies to spice up the motor a bit. I have never fully rigged a boat before so I am learning as I go. Thanks for the compliments

when I bought the boat he was getting ready to paint it, so I picked out the colors, and I am happy with it. My only other choice would have been white, but I am going to trim out the gauges, etc. in platinum, thats why I added the platinum stripe on the sides. Thanks for the well wishes, i will need them

I don't know what I am going to do about the name. I like it, but a "son of a gun" is actually the model name for a 21' cigarette, and the 24' cigarette firefox is closer to the banana hull if I am not mistaken. Oh well, the name is the least of my worries right now, i have a pile of work ahead of me.

#8, built in January 1977. Rigged with a 454 and TRS drive. Boat is all original and it's quite nice for it's age.

Congratulations. You will have an attention getter where ever you go for sure.

Perfect truck combo so you can bring that boat down to Florida next winter.

If you need anything from us, feel free to call.

#8 left the factory rigged with a TRS drive package minus engine and the original owner installed his own power is what I was told. Technically, #10 could still be the first to leave the factory w/ BBC and TRS.
