banana patches available
My son was up visiting me for Thanksgiving and we had a few hours on our hands, so we climbed in, and around, and over, all the old stuff in one of our storage trailers and......yes!!! we found a sealed package of banana patches for jackets.
Here is the deal....if you write to either one of us and send us your hull number, name and mailing address, we will send you a patch............ and after the first of the year, we will send you one of the new T-shirts and decal sets that are being made up.
We were going to get this started after the first of the year, but since we found the patches let's get this going now. We are establishing a registry that lists all the hullnumbers and present owners.
We also found hull #57 in our wanderings over the weekend.

Re: banana patches available
Chris found out this is #75, and Jeb told him he thinks there was one more after his.

Re: banana patches available
Post #2 no that was not hull #57
57 was in winter storage in RI
Baja
We don't know how many actually were made....that is what we are trying to do. But now that you mention it, I sold some 18 and 20 footers made by baja under the banana name. Doug Smith let me put my name on them to fill out my line.
For the banana boats
We would need the complete hull number.
It should look like this
BCV000031076
That means it was made by Banana Boat BCV
it was hull number 3
It was made in the 10th month
of 1976

Charlie that 90 I posted belongs to someone who you know I think. His wife works at Port Edgewood, you can probably get the # from her. Chris found 53 or 54 this weekend on the Cape. Plus he found two different Banana's that had replaced transoms with no #'s on them. I know where another is up here in Manchester N.H. I will check on it.
