Stinger...thank you for your input.
As regards to the Chatim guy...he has been working very hard, you might say he is trying to drag his father kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
Someday his hard work will be enjoyed by all.

Hello Charlie,
How is tax season going?
I will be in W. Palm in about two weeks. I am picking up my new motor, then driving my blue bomber back to New Hampshire. If your around, I will buy you a beer...

Boy I always new that the Banana was a bit taller than the Cig 28ss, but you can really see it in picture #1.
I love the photo of the three early Banana's. Do you think Sonic would get pissed if you started making ones that looked like that again?

Post #13 shows the Banana lineup back in the days.
Closest is my 24, which I still have....it had a single 350 / 280 TRS package.
The middle boat is my 33 (which was actually 34) that had twin 454 / 370 packages with TRS drives.
The boat on the outside is the top banana...the 38 foot race boat.
Air Dog the 28 looks lower due to the weight of the twin 350's vs the outboard on a bracket....look at some of the pictures of the older 24 top banana race boat....it barely had any clearance with that much weight back there.
If we did make them again, they would look more like the 70's Cigarettes the 24, the 28SS and the 35 Mistress. The Sonic look does not flow as easily as that old classic Cigarette look, besides that is where the training we had came from.
Will you be in So Fla for the Miami show?

That almost sounds like an offer to buy it if I don't use it much????
It is in Florida under cover, and I don't use it much at all.
