There was another Cig that did burn but it was not Rice Hauler. The burned Cig came into play because the thief used the HIN from the burned Cig for Rice Hauler. What I guess he didn't realize is most if not all manufacturers put a second HIN in the boat but do not disclose where the 2nd number is located. It is for sitautions such as this.

JANUARY 21st, 2008 - Another holiday and another 30 foot Spectre with outboards was stolen out of Brick.
Is it just a coincidence that testimony was being heard on this case that same week ?

Some of the boat was recovered in Elizebeth, NJ

Chapter 2 has now begun....

So sad to hear another perfectly good boat being hacked up into pieces.......

hmmmm 1 30 outboard spectre stolen outta brick 12-31-06 and another stolen outta brick 1-21-08 and both owners names were Bernie...hmmmmmm

1-21-08 boat is not owned by anyone named Bernie.
