It's nice reading, but wouldn't the guy's insurance company be the owner once they paid him off?

Maybe I'm too cynical in my old age.

If he was paid by the insurnace co. back then, yes they would own it. I assume they may offer it to him first at a price.

I saw this story on the news a while ago. I don't think he had insurance for it back then, so never was reimbursed.

Thank you for all of the support and suggestions. No news about the boat yet. The police is following one lead.

I don't understand how you can hide a 45 foot boat and trailer. This is crazy that it hasen't been found yet.

I dont know what the chances are but I saw a boat like this one on the hudson river the day of the NYC poker run.. Then it was left sitting in the parking lot of my marina,,, I could be way off base but it looked similar..

I just can't imagine how you steal such a big boat! We had it in our shop to replace the windshield and it was huge! I had to move it out so that Chief Engines could pick it up, clipped the trailer onto my F-150 Lighning and when we unscrewed the jack it didn't stop until until the tongue was on the ground!

There's a small possibility that I've seen this boat at Adult Toy Storage in Orlando Fl. I was bringing my boat back last weekend for dropoff and saw a HUGE Donzi (triple engine) in the staging area. It was dark so I'm not sure of the exact colors underneath the street lights, but the graphics look the same. I went over to check it out. I checked out the props (curious as to how fast it might be) and he was turning 32"s or 34"s (can't remember exactly which, but I guessed it was close to a 90mph machine), looked to be labbed Bravo 1 props. If you think I'm on to something let me know and I'll call the place tomorrow and see if I can get any info on the boat, like how long it's been there and such, so PM me.
