Someone tried to pop my Excursion about 3 weeks ago. Luckily I have the Ford Gold system and while it's not as good as most aftermarkets, the shock sensor works and I'm sure that's why they took of after what appears to be only one stab at popping the drivers door lock. Mines only got a key lock on the drivers door but I'll be replacing it with a handle without a key lock. Unlike the trucks, I still have a key lock on the rear barn door in case I ever end up with a key fob dead or battery issues and can't get it unlocked.

Glad you got yours back and hopfully it's not damaged bad. Here in Texas most SD's end up in convoys of 6-10 headed to Mexico within hours. In Arizona they simply hit the desert and half trash the trucks trying to get across the border.

Anyone whos interested in a good security switch for fuel pump or ignition kill, gm makes a nice keyed on pn# 00374169. Its the old corvette fender alarm switch. I have installed tons of them for customers. Can be discreetly hidden in glove boxes, consoles,dc power outlet holes or even right on the dash with a passenger air bag disarm sticker

great to hear you got your truck back probally just joyriders. NOTE: latley here in cincinnati theifs have been casing vehicles getting vin numbers and having keys cut so its much quicker, and if you have a factory alarm putting the key ithe door will disarm it
