Marks great but as soon he touchs you ecus he locks them so no,one can get in there ,My freind bought Doc Holidays 500 efi,s that Mark rebiult we wanted to make some changes we cant get in to the ecu he wont give up password

Thats what we have to do, when they come to us, they have the merc pass word in them.
We did not rebuild Docs 500s we just put our program in so it would run.
Not being a jerk but we have many years worth of time in our cals and dont want to give them away.

Isn't Mark the computer programmer here.......getting paid for what he knows, not necessarily for what he does? Does Merc give out there password to anyone that calls or do you need to be a Merc tech to get/have that info?

This thread just got even better.... haha... Back on topic, even when i was working on their stuff a few years back we had nothing but problems with it. Fat idle, endless "email reflashes" that never cured anything, and our share of gernaded engines. People should do their reasearch when building a motor and they would see who NOT to go to as there are a bunch of excellent engine builders in the south west.
