The start up costs are minimal. The value was in the future after a ton of hard volunteer effort.

Not trying to belittle the effort, or its value.

Trying to understand the goal. Plus it's a good study in negotiation in online media. Key point: know who's behind the guy who's behind the curtain.

well grindstone is a "for profit" company, I always thought that SOS was "for the love of the sport" hmmmm big chief liesalot tellem whopper here...
