It means he is trying to intimidate someone by implying he will get up close and personal with them and use phyisical violence to make his point. I notice a lot of SOS guys say things like "face to face" "Duke it out" "Punch him in the face" "knock him out" etc....they feel it intimidates people. Some, maybe it does. Some others....it's unhealthy.

Step back, re-read and re-think.

It means Sunkin was the one who had stand-over tactics, not necessarily you...

Damn, both these boards are sucking these days...it's unfortunate...

Ed, it's not an OSO vs. SOS thing, it's a Sunkin thing.

Not OSO vs SOS (are they still around?) Not only Sunkin, but Bobcat, CardShark Chubby and other SOS tough talkers use these idiotic verbal tactics. It's almost boring. Now I need a nap. I'm done talking about it.

Come on Alec, even you have to admit that drama in this sport is worse than a bad soap opera and has been so since before the internet was around to broadcast it....

As the prop turns, so are the days of our lives...

The names of the guilty frequently change, but the drama remains. The world of offshore is full of drug dealers, dishonest boat dealers, organinzed crime, disorganized crime, people trying to break out of jail in helicopters, liers, cheats, thieves, child molesters, alcohlics, conmen, and various other kinds of shady individuals. Does this represent everyone in the offshore world, hell no, there are some really upstanding people but this sport has seen more than its share.

The sinking Sunkin is but a sequel to a bad offshore movie that has been remade more times than Chuckie does Holloween in Amtyville.....

But at least they actually had the boats they said they did.
