They can obviously use some twisted logic like that. They ask about your history of making claims, they look at your driving record. But credit rating shouldn't matter.

Enough claims they put you on a clue list!
In some states a guy with good credit pays less than a good driver!Go figure but like someone stated good credit less chance of hankey pankey
Still think this whole story smells fishy that boat whould be back in my possesion with in days!

True or I would have had insurance to cover it. But you are right better credit does show better responsibiliy and to be frank bad credit probably means you cant pay your bills. I think its a crock but I can see why too.
