Crooks got my 7616 s as well as others this week from Fish Tail Marina canal area. Be on the lookout for ebay sales.

There is a pepper spray and noise alarm that might help to prevent this.I was approached by the pepper spray manufacturer to see if this would be of any use in a boat.I will have some info shortly.

Not sure how practical this is for some here but I had my GPS mount modified a bit to have it held in with velcro. At the end of the day I just pulled it out, unplugged and done...took less than 10 seconds and never had to worry about the GPS getting stolen again.

The pepper spray I have seen is for inside your gun room. Brilliant idea but I don't know how well it would work on a boat with air circulation. Might clear them for a few minutes?
