I don't know what the latest complainer has for experience but if it looks bad in pics, and they all have pics, it is in reality. VERY few boats are ever better than expected as it takes a rare breed of owner.

If this is indeed it, why would you even waste money on a survey....just judging
by the looks and common sense tells you it’s a POS

Just to be clear - I was not indicating that this is the boat in question - just one of a few from Online classifieds of the make/model of boat in question that had engine compartments that looked similar (this one also just happened to be $59K)... and yes, the pics tell the story of what a perspective buyer would be in store for even without a survey

I think you should make the whole thread disappear.

Whether you agree or not with the OP, or the most recent poster, there is some useful information in this thread.

It has the possibility of having some negative effect on Ed Cozzi who has done good work for many members here, the little bit interesting information here can be gleaned elsewhere...not returning a phone call is hardly reason to put this out on the interwebs, and the latest clown is just posting for his own giggles.

Perhaps you'd have better luck starting a new thread rather than adding on to an old thread complaining about a surveyor in Florida. There are regional sub-forums here where you can find local opinions for things like this.

Strange…Ed Cozzi did the survey on our 37’ Formula PC we purchased from Miami (haulover marine center) 4 years ago….he was impeccable. Honest, very thorough, detailed….more than we could of asked for. His survey saved us $10’s of thousands on the purchase of the boat. I’m shocked to read the bad comments.

My experience with Ed was equally great. He surveyed a Fountain for me years ago and detected a wet stringer and other issues that allowed us to avoid the time and expense of a sea trial. He was prompt and professional.
