Starting to look
Just now looking for a 46' BT. A couple of things I'm wondering about. How much will it weigh with twins and fuel? And what's the LOA sitting on a trailer?

My 43 on its trailer is 10' even and as said above weighs in heavy; around 13k dry. My former 02 46 as well as my current 99 43 both fit in a 50' building but there is minimal room to spare. Don't shortchange yourself by not including 43's in your search. There were more then a couple 43 extended cockpits EC made haveing the double row of bolsters vs the SC with front bolsters and a back bench. 46s that are SC will more and likely be triple engine boats. There was a beautiful 46 that was trip 500efi and updated everything listed a few months ago out of Canada for a fair price.
Cruz, I believe I was tied up at the same dock with you the other night at Tap & Grill. If so, very nice boat: clean

Weighed the 46 on the way home. On a aluminum trailer, twins, no water in water tank and fuel tanks on empty. Also before all our gear, anchors ropes, jackets, etc. 16,300Ibs.

Thanks for that info. Where is most of the 3 ft added between the 43 and 46? Also, do they both have a large engine compartment? That is something I liked when I saw one up close. A friend of mine had one that he put diesels in. His range was amazing and I think he still got 60+ out of her.

I will say I miss a larger engine compartment. It is a little tight between the front of motors and bulk head/bench seat.

After further reading I found the answers to my questions, thanks. If anyone knows of someone who decides to sell in the next year or so ask them to send me a line. I could go with 43 or 46. Prefer twins over tripps.

I was typing while you were sending. I read those earlier, appreciate your help though. Looks like you were in my area for your 46. I believe I'd prefer a SC model for that reason.
