Default Tilt and engine break up

Hey have any of you guys had this problem? I have a 92 Persuader 234BR w/ 454 mag and bravo I, which I just had rebuilt and installed. Now at rpms above 3500 when I trim up/down the engine breaks up while button is depressed. I noticed the volt meter also drops 1-2 volts. It seems to be worse on trim up and at higher RPMs.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check your battery lead at starter may be loose, check your grounds.

Default Problem Solved

I jumped from +bat to + coil and stumble went away. I guess the old long wire from key to coil is sucking up volts/amps. I plan to install a relay between the key and coil near coil to get good strong 12V current. Lot easier than replacing all that wire.
