Eric,
Get that motor back in and lets go!! You're not going to try to compete with the guy with the 251 at the radar shoot are you??He told me he was going for 110 this year. Still looking to sell the 229 but a little concerned about being boatless during season.
Was in the process of putting everything back together today and it started pouring, great weather forecasters. Hope to finish Sunday.

Barry,

Im tyrin!!!
No way I'll compete with that. Especially in a 25' boat! I wanna be in something big if Im going 110mph. I got a little done on my boat today, mostly cleaning engine compartment. Then the rain came and had to put it back in the Cover-It. Looks like it's gonna be a little cold here tomorrow. How about down there?

Weather didn't work out for today, low 50's and about 25mph winds. Oh well I guess I'll have to shoot for next weekend. Really need a day on the water. Keep me posted on your progress so we can hook up when your running.
When you're going over 100mph and get into trouble I don't think it matters how big the boat is!!

Your right it probably does'nt matter once your in trouble. But I think it's much easier to get into trouble with a 25 compared to a 35 at that speed. Do you agree?

You'll be the first to know when Im ready for water!!

You're right on the size thing, but it's got to be a hell of a thrill to go over 100 in a 251!!
Looks like the weekend of the 23rd will be the splash date for me, can't go this weekend. I NEED a day on the boat.

Barry, Katie and I are going to pickup the motor on April 3rd. Un fortunatly I have to go to San Diego the 10th-14th so the following weekend is blown for dropping the motor in. Looks like it'll be last week or 2 of April to splash.

What's up with this weather? It's colder now than it was in Janurary. Hope to get things finished up this week so I can splash next weekend. If I were still in Florida this wouldn't be the case!!
