nothing too factory about the boat. but, that came from me bashing my elbow a billion times prior to a complete refit. i made it from the same material as the interior.

looks like a cool boat. About as fast as your current?!!! Checkmates are great boats and its funny how many people with fast boats today previously owned checkmates. my dad still has his 1977 20' V8 i/o 63mph mint condition!
Good luck finding it!

Hey Joe, I didn't know you once owned a Checkmate when I sold you your Active Thunder! I've always been a fan of Checkmate boats. I think they have some of the best moldwork in the industry! It would be interesting to see them build something in the 35-40' range...but I think Doug Smith and the Combs brothers are just happy selling what they have for now!! Steve E

I know the guy that bought it. Rode in it a few times and we use to do a triip up to Indian river with our boats several years in a row. He took the "Audacity" off the sides but left the rest the same. He has been off the grid for awhile so I have not seen him. He lives in Lansing MI.
Boy was that boat loud at idle, was a ***** in the no wake up to indian river when I was stuck behind him. We were pretty close to the same speed when he had the non lab prop on for handling. I was running a 2001 240ZT with a 496HO and Whipple CPU upgrade.
