Default fuel economy

Does anyone know how much difference in fuel it would be from a single 502 25ft to a twin 502 28ft? Just curious.

Marty -- I believe that fuel usage is per engine... I read somewhere that a stock 454 burns about 60 gallons per hour. The 502 would probably burn 65 to 70 as you stated. With twins just double it at WOT. The extra cost of having twins is worth it. Just the insurance of having the second motor to get home on is worth it. With my 34 SCARAB I get about 1.5 MPG. But that is with twin 600HP 509,s. I get better milage now than with stock engines.

Marty, Are you saying 40 gph each? If so would twins be double or would twins be a little less than double?
