283 Convincor Prop Help
Well the boat is running great. Ran it all weekend in rough water. Need some prop help. The 22 bravo 4 blade is running low 60's on speedo at 4500-4600rpms /454MAG EFI. I should be at 5000rpms. Planes very easlily, handling is awesome. I was very surprised how much more speed i got from clam water to 2-3 footers....almost 5mph!
First questions is what is the stock prop from Checkmate? I would think a 21 mirage plus.
Second question....does this boat have a high x-dimension. Maybe i should try a hydromotive but what pitch?
Last question...should i just have bravo 22 recupped to a 20 or 21 pitch and have it balanced? how much more speed can i get with another 500rpms with current prop.
I know these are a lot of questions but I think i have a bit more speed and performance with this boat b/c i am shy 500rpms. Thanks!

I talked to John at York Propellers and he said exactly that....I would gain about 250rpms. With all the heat and humidity I am probably losing a couple hundred rpms so when it cools down and the labbed prop I would be right at 5000 hopefully. Tonight I am trying my friends 21 mirage plus.
