Nice Boat
That is a very beautiful boat!!! Here are a few questions for you. What year is it? How many hours are on it? What type of mods are done to the engine. Looks like exhaust, carb, intake, these pop into my head. Does the drive have a nose cone. How much HP are you getting out of this motor. What is the legitimate of the boat. what degree deadrise is the hull and finally how much $?? Thanks in advance for the info.

I had the same boat (as you can guess by my post name) just sold it in July. Had a 468ci, heads, intake, carb, forged internals MSD box, Mallory dist, cam with roller rockers. Made about 475hp and ran 75gps. I had planned on exhaust next but ended up selling her to go bigger and faster. The 229 is a great boat, handles rough, lake and river, water really well. Weighs around 3200lbs dry and has extremly solid construction. I took her on a Poker Run where we were the smallest in the fleet, but not the slowest. It was just a little too light and short for bay or ocean running. The only area to watch out for is the flooring around the seats. Be sure to open the hatch in the floor and look around for rot and feel for sponginess at the seat bases.
Based on the boats you listed above I think the 229 would be a great choice. Post some pics when you by one.

Check Freak,
Have you checked out boat trader online? I was the origional owner of this boat and I see it is for sale again.

There is another guy I know close by that has a '97 219 persuader with a 7.4 and a pro charger on it that he is trying to get rid of. If you would like more info on either let me know.
