This is an old thread, but I have a 2020 Pulsare 2400 long deck with a 300R. The best I have seen in cool weather with 2 people and 1/3rd tank of fuel was 76 mph with a 24 ProMax prop at 6348 rpm. This was the 2nd last boat built in Bucyrus and the last boat was a BRX with a 300R and that owner has seen 73 mph with a 24P Bravo FS but lifted due to chine walking. The person in FL that bought Jupiter Pulsare's crawl through has also run 76 mph running light with a ProMax prop. I have 10" of setback on a hydraulic plate. The new Caldwell Checkmate posted a 73 mph pass on a 24 long deck with a 300R but it had a Sportsmaster and that could have slowed it down since they ran a 26 Bravo FS so the slip was very high. The 2400's just won't run a decent top end with 300 HP because they are heavy boats with no pad.
