the new check graphics packages that they are getting out for '05 look pretty good. The flame jobs look pretty nice on the mates. Its bout time kip and the boys stepped up the look. Good job guys....

Just wanted to add that these boats are not cheap, you’re gonna pay a good chunk of change for a new one, especially if you go all out on options and get creative with your customization. These are custom boats, order driven. Few are made to just be sent out to a dealer to sit there for sale. I bought a new ‘Mate back in 2000. The dealer only had 2 other models sitting there on display. Some Checkmate “dealers” don’t have any on the floor. In contrast, my local “hi-perf production boat” dealer curretly has about 50-75 new boats on display…
Re: graphics: If you want different graphics, they can pretty much do anything above and beyond their standard graphics packages. Just show them the money.

The Gel work on the Checkmates is one of the best i've ever seen. I always received compliments on the Gel with my Check. Great Lines too. I dont think they look outdated in any way. Here's a shot of my old 253.....

That is a good looking engine compartment. Did you have to modify the hydraulic arm to the engine hatch or perform other modifications to make room for the blower? We are looking to supercharge (roots 420 Megablower) our 454 MAG (259 Convincor) at some point and are curious to know how difficult it is going to be.
