I have a 1984 Chris Craft Stinger 390X and I saw there was some interesting conversation about the 390's and if anyone wants to see I can post some pics of mine.

Well after 24 years of just WISHING I had the Miami Vice Edition Stinger 390X, I finally broke down and bought one.

I also still have my old faithful 260...its just a toy compared to the 390X, but a bit easier on fuel!

Its nice to have a choice on which one to go play with!

Hey Mike good to meet you! I too am a fan of MV. Your boat looks in good shape?
What do you have in it for engines?
Mine are not stock anymore as I have a pair of 420 mags, but its far better on gas than the original blown big blokcs it came with!!!

Its good to meet you too. She is running the original 400 TRS's. And where she isnt great on gas she isnt that bad either. I guess at 4.30 a gallon it is just the cost of running one of these boats. And thanks the outside I think is in pretty good shape for her age. The uphostery needs some work. Just a little old and faded and cracked where the sun has gotten to her. She's a work in progress.
