Hello, I have an '88 scorpion 210 it has a 350 chevy with an alpha one outdrive. I am in the proscess off refinishing the boat now will try to post some pics when i can was thinking of leaning more towards the classic boat paint scheme flag blue with a red boot stripe but it does have the go fast lines! Wondering if any of you have any ideas on that. Also I have a 19p 3 blade prop on it but I want to get some more speed out of it could I use a 21p 4 blade prop to get a little more speed?

Depends what RPM your motor can turn the current prop at. If you can rev out your current prop under load (to max engine RPM) then you should try a 21P of the same prop. If you can't get full revs out of that prop, you aren't making enough power to spin it up to top speed.
Again, it depends on what you want to do. If you want the boat to accelerate and cruise, you may need a 19P 4 blade or 21P 4 Blade. If you want to go fast, try a 21P 3 blade like a Mirage or Mirage+.
Just see if you can find and test various props and pitches to see what works on your boat. That worked best for me anyway!

Thanks ghostrider, right now it will get up to about 5300 rpms with the 19p 3blade dont have a gps or working speedo so I dont know how fast it goes, I put one of those big fins on the outdrive so it gets on plane really quick about 3 to 4 seconds so that was why I was thinking of going to the 21p 4 blade to try for more top end its a really quick boat already not twin engine fast but fun enough without the fuel bill lol

I have a 87 Scorpion 230 limited. original was 350/260 OMC Cobra. last engine was n/a 406 sbc running 23 4 blade mach prop hit 70 on gps with a little chop and light load. normal prop is a 21 OMC 4 blade. as it planes a little quicker. have recently installed a 406 sbc with a 177 blower and 850 Demon carb almost ready for startup. still have OMC drive no problems with drive. shift linkage/ shift interupter adjustment is critical. hoping to go up on prop pitch with this engine.
