What do you guys think is a fair price? would you worry about the title? The boat does have a IN reg number and I wonder if some one can back door and get some info from that number. Does Formula put a HIN number somewhere else?? I will post a few questions on the forumla board

Thanks All of you guys are being very very helpful

Formula puts the HIN number on the upper corner of the transom, starboard side.

The "Stinger" with the red, white, black graphics is NOT a Formula.

Red dog made this comment on the other thread do you guys agree??? Reddog just looking for more input not saying you are not telling the truth..

"Have heard Stingers had a major problem with rotted stringers. I would have a very extensive structural survey done on this boat if you are still considering buying it."

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

No offense taken. I would encourage you to do as much research and learn as much as possible before dropping this kind of money into something and getting burned. Some of us have learned things the hard way and boaters (especially OSO'ers) try to look out for one another.

I have nothing against Chris Craft ... really liked the red Stinger Mel Gibson had in the movie "Tequila Sunrise".

I was wondering if anyone was watching. or who I was bidding against if anyone from here. I already have someone wanting the 39'. Trying to get a few things lined up before pick-up. I made a few calls about the HIN and the IN# and it is the right boat. I just need to make sure the lean holder is signed off on the title from 2002. I just need to make sure everything is sound. From talking to the guy and emailing him everything seems to be. Has anyone ever put a Hemi in one of these??? All Alum??

Thanks for all the response and info from everyone. When I get it back I will take lots of pics and post them

I have a complete Turn Key Excalibur Hawk 40 with twin 425HP 454's and trs drives. Also has a target trailer. I would let it go for 22,500. The Stinger 390 came from the Excalibur mold and are identical boats.
