Ok don't want to jack the thread, but I am running a 15x1/2- 29p hydromotive 4 blade on there now. I am going to be swapping to a 1.50 upper this week. I am getting way way to much stern lift with that pitch. Hoping to go with a bit less pitch, was needing some suggestions from guys that had power in the 202's. I am right at 6k on the rev box, still no where near enough wheel on it, gears are a must..

My gear ratio is 1.50-1 turning 4200 WOT it seems to be starving for fuel now that the exhaust is flowing better so a new marine fuel pump and carb should do the trick oh yeah prop is 14-1/4 23 pitch

Damn that is great speed for that boat based on the power. Do you have tabs on it?. I can't wait to get these gears in this thing....

I don't know if I would be changing out the carb and fuel pump just yet. Check out TrippleDigits web site at http://www.rlcpe.com/. Look under Projects and then Project Tripple Digits. He mentions in there a problem with fuel flow being caused by a restriction at the tank. I would look there first before investing in parts not needed.
