stepped up to a Scarab III and also have a 38 Donzi zx but i will see if i can make room for the 390
No the $2500 was just for the cockpit and sunpads. He did the sunpads and rear seat from scratch, all new. I felt he did alot of extra work and honestly his original estimate was between $1500 and $2000. I told him I didnt want a $1500 dollar job and to feel free to go alittle further with the project. By the time all the dust settled and we refined my interior beyond what the factory originally did on these things I felt the $2500 was very fair and i was happy with the end result.
Actually i bought a comercial heavy duty sewing machine and did the cabin cusions myself. Working with cloth is one thing but i dont know if i could tackle vinly or the complexity of doing the cockpit.
