Interior

Has anyone had someone redo there Interior? Update it, not anything special. I had a guy come out locally and he wanted $10,000 for the cabin and another $10,000 for the cockpit area. I almost fell over. Does this sound right or he just not want to do the job??

Thanks

Mike

Yeah thats what I thought. I dont know if they see a big boat and see $$ or the guy did not want to deal with it. There arent to many places around town that do it. I may have to take it up north. Any one know of a place around Indiana to take it?? 415 Stinger

Thanks

There is a place just north of Chicago called Fountain of Youth for Boats (fountainofyouthforboats.com). He did some excellent glasswork on the front deck, and they do interiors too.

The other place I've worked with is a little west of Chicago - I had my captains seat, side bolsters and other stuff reupholstered and went there - Johnson Canvas - great place to work with. (www.johnsoncanvas.com) - not sure if they do cloth interiors however, but can't hurt to check them out.
