I need to know how to wire a single trim switch into the three switches on the dash of a cafe. Can anyone help? I've tried everyway I know, but I keep coming up with the same result. It will trim both drives but I can't trim them separtely. Thanks Scott

Scott,
Are you using diodes?
I'm not familiar with the Cafe, but I put a single trim switch from Rex Marine on the trottle handle of my 311 a few years ago. There was a wiring kit with some diodes in it that needed to be in the loop for it to work properly. I'll try to find the old diagram and see if it helps you.

Thanks Reddog382 Its a keikaffer it has three wire coming out of it. I know one is red is power blue is up ans green is down. I have three switches one to work each drive by itself and one in the middle that trims both together. Let me know what you find. Thanks Scott

Scott,
I believe you bought the throttles from my 382, correct?
I would sure like to help you solve this. The third common trim switch throws a wrench in it for me, but I can fix you up with the diagram from Rex Marine if you post or PM a fax number or address for me to send to.
Basically, the red goes direct to power source.
The green (down) goes through a diode and spilts to the green on drive #1 and #2.
The blue (up) goes through a diode and splits to the blue on drive #1 and #2
