Nice looking Cig! The TRS setup is great. No need to worry about them, especially on the lake. Remember that these big boats are heavy and need the assistance of a trans to keep from blowing the drives.
In regards to your trim... at 3500-4000 RPM, keep the tabs at 4 (neutral) and drives at 3.5-4 (again nuetral) and enjoy the ride. Once you have a feel for the boat, trim out the drives to 5-6 and lift up the tabs to "loosen" the hull. You should notice an increase in speed. DISCLAIMER: These are merely guidlines, as we have the same era Top Gun.
