Default another wiring question (2 actually)

On a 04 Gladiator, the dash has two toggles for fuel pumps and one for the muffler.

The fuel toggles only have two wires running to them but they are both purple (ignition)? Anyone know where I can locate the other end? Is is in the 9 point merc harness? Why both ignition wire? The toggles are definitely on/off.

The muffler switch has a gaggle of wires, question is where does the factory park the other ends when the boat is not equipped with controlled mufflers?

I am hoping someone will know so I done't have to dissect the factory harness to chase it out.

they may not be hooked up. cigarette uses the same dash panels for all boats regardless of the options. sometimes there are extra switches or wiring.

There is a very neatly rolled wire right by the port exhaust exit at the end of the wiring harness, that could be the one labled muffler, please post your answer, if you get through to the factory.

I also have a red and white (unused wires) wrapped up with the 9 pin Merc connector. Anyone know what these two wires are intended for?

I will post answers when I get them.

Ironic, but I got behind my dask tonight, and have a couple wiring questions maybe you could help with. There is a very large gauge red and black wire with no connections, just a wire cap. I would assume for a future large power draw, wondering where they are fused (breaker) and connected to. In addition, there is a white, black and green wire run to the radio, is one switched, one hard wired for memory ?...if so, how are the fused (breaker)

Any help would be appreciated.

THis is the back of my contol panel. I don't see the wires you mention. The stereo is the steel box to the right. There is a row of small breakers at the left (top) of the panel for the panel itself. The big Breakers are on the battery control board.
