FYI - We were the 2nd boat to the 1st stop (Big Dick's), w/ only 1 cat (which was from Pier 57) in front of us. Neill and Tim were nice enough to invite me along in their factory poker run boat (the Grey/Red 39'er - 700 EFI boat).
Looking at the speedo.... I can personally say we didn't drop below 90 MPH, cutting thru all the chop, the whole way there (what great throttling and driving, Neill ).
Now, I do know there were cats that exceed 150 MPH, so I'm not saying we were the "fastest".... just that, "we were the 2nd one to the stop". I'll leave the rest alone, as not to start a bashing thread!
Thanks again for the ride guys! It was great being a passenger for once --- and yes, my meek little 525 EFI boat is now for sale ----- best sales pitch there is!
