The detail includes everything that the original boat had, both from the original drawings and Michael's own memory of being there, as it was built and being on the boat for the first test ride with Don and Knocky House.

The one Don is holding in post 5 is the same as Michael has and is the same as used for comparison by the model maker as the project moved forward.

They are being made in NY. Michael found a very experienced model maker who was willing to take on the task.
Each boat is individually hand built by this man. Another reason why the total number per year is so low.
The stand the boat rests on is done by a local marine woodworking company.

Thank's Charlie. Do you have any photographs that show the detail a little better. It's really hard to see the detail in the pictures that are posted.
