Michael has the original, the one that was in the first office on 188th st, not the new buildng across the street, but there were several others made after that one and various customers over the years obtained them.......I would say that not more than 6 total were made though.
An interesting feature, was the use of 2 blade props in 1969 on the sterndrives....even I had forgotten that detail, until I saw it again on the model. It is accurate right down to things like that.

I see several differences; deck length, scoop sizes etc. I like the one in this picture a little better.

I am obsessed with the length of deck in relation to overall length. This is why I bought a Gladiator. The new model differs somewhat from the brochure sketches and original pictures. Just my little hang up.

As of this date and time....numbers 1, 4, 6, 7, 13, 22, and yes.....30 are taken.
The guy who wanted # 30 ....this is a special number to him and even though we will only release 25 boats this year...once again, the customer wants 30 for a personalized custom boat..he gets 30.
Each customer gets a copy of the brochure and a signed, by Michael Aronow, copy of the original line drawing that was used to make the original race boat. These line drawings are suitable for framing for home or office.

These models that Michael Aronow is releasing now, are hand made made from the orignal drawings for the actual race boat.
They are then compared to the original model that was in his dad's office.....plus you have his signature stating it's authenticity with a number from a series....a far cry from something on e-bay.
