We're going to bump the HP to the mid 700's, maybe close to 800 and do some testing. Want to run it in the shootout next year just for grins so I am looking for a set of props for that. We are able to go back to 650 real easy so it will be set to mild except for the test time and then for the few days in August.
How many lbs of boost are you running now at 650? How much more will you need to be at 800. I would like to try this I'm running 509ci 250ci blower 5lbs boost 30 bravo with boxes straight bottom TG 82 mph on GPS. I think My HP is 650. What is your set up?

Thanks Dennis, I'll give you a holler when we get to that time. I've been wanting to try a set of labed 30's.

On the surface about the same. Engines are 509's with 250's and 5 lbs of boost, no boxes and running 28 B 1's no boxes.

Pulled out the dyno sheets this morning and the engines make 653 & 660 at 5200. We are changing the ignition and bumping the rev limiter and that alone gets us to 680 & 690 at 5500.

As for boost, I am not sure yet but I will let you know when I know. Right now the upper pully is 4.1" and the lower is 6.4" We also are going to mess with some drive heights so this should all be interesing.

What type of ignition are you going with? If you change the upper pulley to increase the boost would you need to rejet the carb? I will be looking forward to hearing more, Thanks

Seahawk, I would not try this running bravos. You're asking for drive failure. Your boat is running and looking great! I would hate to see you get frustrated with drives breaking.

Yea, I'd second that for full time use, remember we are going for a 5 day set up then back to "stock".

After seeing Dennis run 2 years ago, we have to give it a run

I was just thinking that if it is as easy as changing a pulley and a prop I could have some fun with it. I agree with keeping it the way it is. I just came back from the drag races and wow, talk about horse power. I guess after that the boat seems slow
